This Saturday, smoke was seen rising high above the Los Angeles skyline as the studio set of internet television sensation: THAT METAL SHOW lay in ruin. Why do you ask? What form of monster brought VH1’s hit show hosted by those three Jersey guys down in flames? Well, when old school and new school unite; metal ensues. Metal in the form of TREMONTI meets King Diamond. Yes, you read that right.
For all of you hardcore fans of Mark, you will all know that the King is one of Mark’s biggest musical influences, being the leader of the legendary metal band Mercyful Fate. The only way this could get any more epic is if this duo was joined on stage by Celtic Frost or Morbid Angel. …Maybe a guest appearance by Kerry King while we’re at it?
Anyways, before this fantasy gets too out of hand, you can watch the King and Mark share stories and talk all about their latest musical endeavors as well as their upcoming plans for tours, dvds, cds, and even the influence of spirituality in their music.
